Donation Collection At the Transfer Station 10/19 8am-1pm for the Hopkinton Food Pantry

 

The mission of the Hopkinton Food Pantry is to provide nutritious food on a weekly basis to eligible households in the Town of Hopkinton. Approximately half of the patrons are 65+.  The Food Pantry is not funded by the              Town of Hopkinton and is volunteer supported.


NEEDED ITEMS:  

  • Non-perishable items in small servings
  • Canned foods like soups, tuna/chicken, veggies & fruits
  • Pasta, rice, pasta sauces
  • Small bottles of ketchup, mayo, mustard, etc.
  • Crackers
  • Toiletries
  • Cleaning products
  • Monetary donations to help cover the operating costs, etc.


Distribution by the Food pantry is made in a charitable and non-judgmental manner. The Food Pantry also provides connections and/or referrals to additional or alternative services when necessary.


The Hopkinton Food Pantry is supported by the Capital Food Program, Government Surplus Foods, NH Food Bank, and many local contributors, including schools, churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals.

Thank you to all who contribute, either as volunteers or through 

donations of food, money, produce, or sundries.

The Food Pantry is located: 

on the lower level of the Slusser Center

41 Houston Drive in Contoocook. 

Hours of operation:  Every other Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

 Hours of donation acceptance:  Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

Donations are accepted at the Slusser Center
